Matrixtest

Matrixtest is a program that is developed by the Technical Support Group for testing word recognition under different circumstances. The program is stored in Gitlab in the Matrixtest repository.

The program can play sentences of five words (for now in Dutch or German). The sentences have the same format: like "John has five big books" or "<name><verb><number><adjective><noun>". The sentences are formed by different combinations of words from predefined lists of ten names, verbs, numbers, adjectives and nouns. The sentences are stored in carefully produced WAV files. The files have a high standard of clarity, uniformity and loudness.

The Matrixtest can be performed with added noise or with vocoded noise or speech.
