Description

The Tannoy Reveal 402 is a reference monitor with 70 Watt build-in amplifier. It has a 4" custom high-efficiency low-frequency driver and a 0.75" soft-dome high-frequency tweeter. The cabinet has a tuned front-firing bass port that for enhanced low-frequency performance. It has a balanced XLR input, an unbalanced 1/4" TS input and a 1/8" stereo jack input.

The off the shelf speakers have a relatively load 50 Hz buzz due to the poorly shielded block transformer. For that reason we have modified the speakers by replacing the block transformers with a toroidal transformers.
