Description

A digital event recorder is a device for recording timing pulses used for synchronizing several devices. The 8 channel digital event recorder is a 1U rack version of the device. It has eight isolated BNC inputs each with a led indicator.

  • The device is custom build by the Technical Support Group.
  • The device is based on a raspberry pi.
  • Synchronization of pulses: jitter < 1 ms.
  • The synchronization is based on the Lab Stream Layer (LSL) protocol.
  • The software on the raspberry pi is developed by Günter Windau.
