Description
The test coil is meant for measuring the magnetic fields generated by the field coils of the EMF head tracking system installed in some of the labs. It is a ABS box that can be mounted on a standard tripod. The box has a pickup coil inside that has a specified flux area (about 3x the flux area of a standard head mounted pickup coil.
The normal vector to the flux area is indicated on top of the box.
